In the war of minds, we go back a little from Tahrir Square into the past.. to the Bolshevik Revolution, or the "October Revolution", in the year 1917.
To Russia.. after the withdrawal of (Napoleon Bonaparte).. and after the scorched-earth strategy had been used against him.. exhausted, wounded and drained.
After any revolution, war, or violent change in any country.. there always appear categories of profiteers, who have their own ambitions, and want to snatch a piece of the cake at any price.. sometimes in the name of patriotism, sometimes in the name of the revolution.. in the name of religion.. or any other slogan that comes to mind.. and unfortunately some of them actually succeed.. and that makes the rest of the youth follow in their footsteps. And often the struggle of these people to win something undeserved drags on for several years.
And it is quite possible that they will start another revolution for you or cause you a new war.. this is their only chance in life, so they will not let it go easily.. merely because you are hoping for reform. Remember, in these episodes we saw how a trivial young man, empty of mind, named "Gavrilo Princip", caused the outbreak of the First World War.
These parasites are usually from the ignorant class, even if they are educated, or from those without talent or competence.. meaning he will not be able to find good work or advance in his life in any way.. there is no respectable place that will employ him.. and there is not even another country that will grant him a work contract.. because in truth he has no real capabilities. So this becomes his only chance.
Powers like these appeared in Russia after (Napoleon's) withdrawal, and among these people in Russia was a young man named "Aleksandr Ulyanov".. the one in this picture.. from a poor peasant family in the countryside of "Ulyanovsk".. from the very bottom of the class ladder, at a time when class divisions in the world were clear, blatant and crude.
And under these circumstances, the utmost ambition that "Ulyanov" could hope for was to gather the leftovers of the harvest by hand under the supervision of a Russian overseer holding a cane.. or at most to migrate to a city and turn into a manual labourer as a shoemaker, or a bartender in a bar.
And "Ulyanov's" ambition was far greater than that.. and instead of trying to develop himself in order to achieve his dreams, he thought of the easier way, the one free of effort.
He finds himself joining a terrorist group called "Narodnaya Volya".. this name means "the will of the people". Its founder is named "Mark Natanson".. the bearded one in the second picture.. and he was from a wealthy family, he studied medicine and then studied agriculture.. one of the friends of the Hungarian "Theodor Herzl", the father of the state of Israel, and the first to call for its establishment.
And "Narodnaya Volya" was - supposedly - working to eliminate autocracy.. meaning the rule of one individual without election, and the inheritance of power.
Of course they called themselves "the will of the people" because any group of this kind wants a cause to lean on and hide behind. The truth is that they had strange demands.. and they once sent a delegation to meet the Tsar in order to pressure him to support them in an organisation called the "movement of return to Israel".. and the establishment of a new homeland for the Jews of the empire, who were almost 3% of the Russian people!
And the strange thing is that "Narodnaya Volya", which was supposedly seeking to free Russia from injustice.. most of its members were not from Russia at all!
Germans, Hungarians, English and Russians, the common denominator between them is the Jewish religion.
In short.. "a religious terrorist group".
You see this today too in terrorist groups, you find a Chechen, a Swede, an Englishman, a Pakistani, a Bangladeshi and an Afghan.. leaving their countries and going to liberate Egypt, Syria and Libya from dictatorship....!
And as usual.. they began by inciting the workers. And as usual too they began by stirring up strife between the different religions.
The assassinations begin, and the first of them was the Minister of Education.. followed by the Minister of the Interior and then the governor of the city of "Ufa".. and then the Prime Minister, the Tsar's uncle, and then the army commander.
The important thing is that "Aleksandr Ulyanov" plans with his comrades to assassinate the Tsar "Alexander III".
And they decide to wait for the Tsar as he goes to church to mark the anniversary of his late father, and to throw hand grenades at his convoy.
The same method of assassination with which "Gavrilo Princip" tried to kill the Archduke of Austria on the eve of the First World War!
And the young "Ulyanov" was a skilled bomb maker.. so he makes the bombs and sets off with his comrades.
And like the "Gavrilo" incident that caused the First World War.. they too were 6 young men!
And again their leader failed to go with them and take part!!
As if the planner and the mastermind were one and the same in the two crimes.
But this time.. the whole group is arrested before it does anything.. and a large number of the members of "Narodnaya Volya" are sentenced to death.
And then Tsar Alexander III finds that most of them are young boys, so he issues a general pardon for them, except for five defendants.. he notes that they are "intellectually lost" and that there is no longer any use in reforming them or discussing with them.
Five who were defeated in the war of minds.. and it became useless for anyone to expect any hope from them.
And among the five whose fate destiny had determined was brother "Ulyanov".
And on the morning of 20 May, in the year 1887, in the city of "Shlisselburg".. they place a thick black band over "Ulyanov's" head and wrap a thick fibre rope around his neck, while he stands on the execution platform, and then the executioner pulls a mechanical arm, which opens a special hatch beneath his feet, his body plunges down hanging from the noose, and his neck vertebrae are shattered with the utmost violence, putting an end to his mad ambitions, unsupported by any competence or any attempt at self-development.
But the execution of "Ulyanov" causes a new problem.
A deep wound in the heart of his younger brother, "Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov".
This younger brother, no one remembers him by that name anymore.. because he gave himself a new nom de guerre at the time, and he was destined to change history, and to push the state of Russia into one of the most horrific eras in its history.. driven only by spite and the desire for revenge.
And his nom de guerre was a name that not one of us is ignorant of.
"Lenin".
Vladimir Lenin.. whom we will talk about later..
And there remains more to say.
