We spent a pleasant time together talking about the generations of war.. and we reached "fourth-generation war, 4GW", which erases the dividing lines between things.. and turns vices into virtues and virtues into a defect, backwardness and retardation.. and you go to sleep and wake up to find the security man and the man of the armed forces have become terrorists.. and the takfiri terrorist has become a "national faction"...

We also learned how the laptop and the internet connection have become weapons of terrorists today all over the world.. and they can never do without them.. exactly like the cannon and the bomb.. All of this is in the first reference, for anyone who wants to go back to it...

How can you distinguish and counter fourth-generation war? Be careful, fourth-generation war has no "Plan B".. because it relies on deceiving peoples.. so if you realise that someone is trying to deceive you.. the plan fails.. that is why it is long, and your enemy is all determination.. he must make it succeed and trap you by force..

Some people say that after it there is also a fifth generation.. which relies on your child who is still small.. and the things his mind receives in education, cartoons and so on.. and some people said there is a sixth generation as well...

But since I did not find respectable references talking about the fifth or sixth generation at present, then it will not do for me to opine and talk about them out of thin air..

As we saw, fourth-generation war relies on the media.. of every kind.. visual, written.. or social media.. and the information circulating on it.. "Information warfare" is a very important part of fourth-generation war...

"Information warfare" is an American military principle, by virtue of which whoever possesses information and is able to use it in several directions, including "persuasion".. wins half the war...

How is this war waged?

He unleashes his media machines on you.. or sends his men to spread false information to you.. in information warfare it is not called "false information".. this time it is called in English "disinformation".. because it is "deliberate"...

What is a "rumour"? It is a piece of information.. that a person tells you.. but it is false information..

By means of this false information he tries to arouse your panic or create negative feelings in you.. he tries, as we saw, to convince you of the futility of any achievement.. or he tries to draw you into his camp.. Tampering with history is very important.. so Egypt is defeated in 73 and Israel left Sinai out of love.. and Refaat El-Gammal was an Israeli spy but he brought us the Israeli air-defence code out of spite.. a history being lost, a present whose truth is being distorted, and a future they are turning into nothingness...

By the way, if Refaat El-Hagan were still alive.. today his name would be "a security man" and "a committee" and "a toady".. do not be surprised.. have we not seen how they flip the facts.. and the crime becomes a heroic act.. and heroism becomes shame and betrayal...

How do you distinguish a rumour from the truth?

In two ways.. The first way is that the rumour has no respectable source whatsoever.. you find newspapers like "Al-Shaab" and "Al-Masryoun" and "Rasad" and "Kalimti" and "Al Jazeera" and "CNN" — the last two we have seen how they are known globally as rumour machines — and instead of a source you hear "a relative of mine" and "they say" and "I heard" and "a trustworthy person told me".. and so on with all this nonsense...

As for the second way, it is that the rumour is impossible to prove.. like the rumour they were trying to promote about President Sisi, that "his mother is a Moroccan Jew".. and none of them could prove it of course, because it is not true.. and because he is part of a system that is fighting you and getting paid for it.. he tries to prove it to you with forgery, Photoshop and lying..

There is another rumour they try to force onto children in cartoons and elsewhere.. "the pyramids were built by aliens".. and you find him saying it with such confidence that you feel he was sitting with these alien contractors.. and of course this is talk with no respectable scientific basis whatsoever...

The terrorism we spoke about in fourth-generation war includes "intellectual terrorism".. we all remember the broadcaster "Ahmed El-Asily" when he once wrote a dissenting opinion.. the brothers, the supporters of "freedom and democracy", insulted him and trampled his honour.. The goal of this intellectual terrorism is that he should not think and should not try to step outside the laid-down path.. the rails on which the locomotive of fourth-generation war runs...

Among the methods of intellectual terrorism is also the idea of mockery.. "You are with us or else you are a freak and a joke and a laughing stock".. and that is why in fourth-generation wars political comics and sketches always appear, as we saw with "El-Barnameg" and as "Faheeta" appeared..

The Americans are professionals at this.. to the point that during the Vietnam War an entire unit was created to spread jokes and mockery of the Vietnamese.. and it was called the "Humor archives" unit.. but the problem was that the Vietnamese did not know English and their culture was different and they did not understand the humour.. so the matter had no effect on them.. so America began to come at them through the door of religion...

The Vietnamese believe that the souls of the slain hover in the place where they died for a period.. so the American army used to place loudspeakers for them in the forests.. broadcasting terrifying sounds at night.. that seem like the voices of the souls of their comrades who died.. and the voice would say "I died.. I am being tormented in hell".. and so on.. and unfortunately for the Americans this hocus-pocus did not work.. this operation was called "Operation Wandering Soul".. you can hear this sound in the fifth reference if you like..

By the way, today there is an entire generation in America convinced that America won the Vietnam War.. because of cinema films like "Rambo" and "Watchmen".. to the point that "Jonathan Salem Baskin".. wrote an article on 25 July 2014 published in a sober newspaper like "Forbes" talking about this subject, and its title is that "According To U.S. Big Data, We Won The Vietnam War"..

In July 2015, there was a violent clash between the Egyptian armed forces and terrorists in Sinai.. and ISIS at the time released a anthem, "Sali al-Sawarim".. this anthem is supposed to be chanted by ISIS men so that they feel enthusiasm on the battlefield.. something like the war drums of old.. but the puzzling question is.. why did they publish it to us through "Al Jazeera" and the pages of "Rasad"?

We are not on the battlefield...

Why did they publish it to us on social media...??

Because in reality this is "the battlefield".. You.. and your fear and your feeling of helplessness, weakness and failure.. that is what he is after.. if he succeeds in that.. a thousand armies cannot stand before him..

His battle is "you"... "Wars are decided in the breasts of men before they are decided on the battlefields".. Napoleon's phrase that we mentioned before.. and we said we would remember it constantly.. because we will come back to it...

He uses social media and the media as a battlefield for his war.. because his war is in every home.. not on the ground.. his war on the ground with the cannon and the bomb equals 10% of the total of his real war...

Spontaneously and without arrangement, the Egyptians turned this anthem into a joke and a gag and it lost its value.. and it became impossible for it to have any effect.. this is one of the characteristics of the fourth generation of wars.. "what has gone does not come back", and the weapon that loses its power.. ends and cannot be used again.. if you want to make sure for yourself.. remember well and notice that ISIS never afterwards addressed the Egyptians with another anthem at all...

If you want to be even more certain.. look at how many media figures and politicians who rose to prominence at the beginnings of the Arab Spring.. withdrew and disappeared and stopped talking about politics.. and look at how many icons faded into the shadows.. because, as far as the war operator is concerned, they were burned out and finished...

Faces are swapped and new faces appear to you.. they try to destroy any achievement for you through rumours and "well, someone I don't know told me".. as "Mona Mina" did on the subject of the syringes.. in a stance that threatens your medical tourism entirely...

In fourth-generation wars.. the smart state enters the same field.. of course not with lying and rumours.. no.. it counters the lying and the rumours.. and it makes channels of its own.. as America made CNN and as Russia made Russia Today.. and it makes hotlines to report any extremist terrorist.. and it shows people the real achievements and involves them in them and tries to develop their minds and their culture..

The element of speed and decisiveness is necessary.. and amending legislation in order to punish those who spread rumours and harm national security.. if you remember the situation we talked about in July 2015.. the clash between the army and ISIS.. people kept floundering between CNN, the BBC, Al Jazeera and others.. while the military spokesman came out and spoke for the first time on his page after about 7 hours.. and that is a mistake that ought to be remedied.. because time in these wars is a vital, decisive element...

Do not forget that the Iraqi soldiers, because of Al Jazeera and CNN, began to collapse internally and withdraw and surrender, before any land intervention had actually taken place...

Anyone who tells you again that the Americans do not control the media because they have media freedom and democracy.. just hand him the ninth reference about "the Pentagon's hidden hand in visual media".. and leave him to read it himself..

It seems that time has turned.. and the matter has changed entirely, in a strange and nauseating way..

"Saleh Morsi" preparing his cup of coffee and lighting his cigarette and taking up his black pen to write the life story of "Refaat El-Hagan".. "Refaat El-Gammal".. or the real "Refaat El-Hagan"; taking part in the operation of the Israeli air-defence code.. the owner of the strongest spy network in the history of intelligence, which was never uncovered.. The Spring.. "El-Barnameg".. "Faheeta".. Qaradawi.. Qaradawi's son.. Al-Arifi.. Mona Mina.. Moataz Matar.. "CNN".. Facebook.. Twitter.. the pop wrote tweets? "Rasad" and "the influence of Al Jazeera"...

It seems the wars have changed a great deal since the day 300 brave Spartan soldiers stood blocking the pass of "Thermopylae" before a million Persian soldiers.. armed only with spears and shields.. knowing that not one of them would ever return.. the dust and the sweat and the exhaustion and the sound of horses and the whistling of arrows.. no one can retreat or withdraw or else he violates "the law".. they exchange smiles.. and they know full well.. that it is the last time...
