Today we begin with "Darwin's" theory of biological evolution.. which is called "Darwinism".. which has caused anxiety among its supporters and its opponents across the ages.. and I don't know why, but I feel that everyone talking about it has not read a single letter of it.
The conflict between the two sides is really logical.. one utterly refuses that he should be a lump of clay that turned into a human, and the other utterly refuses the idea that his grandfather was a lizard.. I understand the matter...
Once I saw a post by a guy who "went off the rails", writing: "If humans evolved from apes, why haven't we seen an ape turn into a human?"
And a cleverer guy, who went off the rails even more, replied to him: "And why haven't we seen clay turning into a human being"...!
Of course, the matter then turned into a form of idiocy.. The matter in reality is much simpler than that..
One of the funny things is that the Englishman "Darwin" never said: "Man's origin was an ape" nor "Man evolved from apes"..
It was a rumour from Darwin's enemies.. And the strangest thing is that afterwards.. it turned into a rumour in the hands of his supporters who did not understand.. The Darwinists who tried to attribute this talk to Darwin by force as a means of attacking religions (even though the matter has nothing to do with religions).. and they relied on a scientific fact..
That we as humans.. share 96% of the human genome, or DNA, with apes...
But we as humans share 90% of our DNA with cats...
We share 85% with mice.. the ones medicines are tested on in the laboratory before your good self takes them...
And we share 71% of our genome with the fruit fly.. and 60% with chickens.. and 80% with cows.. and 60% with bananas.. and 57% with cabbage..
This certainly does not mean that man's origin was "cabbage".. And the matter is not that superficial.. It is simple.. but not that flat..
On the contrary.. "Charles Darwin" spoke with complete clarity and candour about a point that perplexed him greatly.. namely the "Missing Link" between apes and humans.. And this link perplexed him as he was doing his research.. and he settled on the fact that this "transitional fossil" does not exist...
More than that.. scientists told us that the "fossil record" is still incomplete.. and therefore we cannot assert a kinship of one genus to another except in narrow cases..
And in general, the incompleteness of the fossil record does not detract from Darwinism in anything, nor does it brand it with failure..
And the truth is that the theory or idea that "man began as bacteria that evolved into a multicellular animal that turned into an insect, then into a reptile, then into a mammal like dogs or cats, then into an ape, then into a human".. is an ancient theory.. Darwinism came and refuted it, responded to it, and proved its complete failure..!
The truth is that "Darwin".. when he had reached only 22 years of age.. was a respected and well-known biologist with standing in scientific circles..
Scientists once sent him an invitation to come and look at the skeleton of an extinct amphibious animal.. with a body like a hippopotamus.. and a head resembling the head of rodents.. and they told him "this is the ancestor of the hippopotamus then.. a hippo with a rodent's head".. it evolved and became the hippopotamus we have today...
Darwin sat, researched and examined the skeleton.. and then rejected this nonsense.. and told them that the first creature was in reality indeed a rodent.. and not the ancestor of the hippopotamus, because evolution does not happen in this way and there is no evidence for this.. and he named the first animal "Toxodon".. and said that it was most likely.. the ancestor of a truly amphibious rodent animal.. and he suggested it was the "Capybara"...
Darwin's talk was interesting.. and he was a distinguished scientist as we said, so the scientists read his research and understood his words.. and then they chose him to represent them in continuing the research in this direction.. by means of a scientific voyage to be undertaken by the ship "HMS Beagle".. under the command of Captain "Robert FitzRoy".. to examine the coast of South America and continue his research and his theses...
And the strange thing is that Darwin's father refused this voyage.. because he saw it as a waste of time.. but Darwin's maternal uncle.. convinced him to let him go and learn and develop himself more and more..
And Darwin went, and boarded the ship "Beagle" in 1831.. This voyage was destined to last a year and a half.. but it dragged on for five years...
In these five years.. Darwin collected samples and fossils beyond anyone's dreams.. and dissected the bodies of thousands of animals.. from insects and birds to reptiles to mammals.. and visited the tropical forests in Brazil.. and wrote, away from biology, declaring his displeasure with the "slavery" he saw there...
And the truth is that what Darwin did and declared after his voyage.. provoked the anger of some clergymen.. so they set two sly journalists on him, who did an interview with him.. and he answered them with an open heart.. only to be surprised the next day by a headline.. that he had neither said nor stated:
"Darwin declares: Man's origin is an ape"..
And although Darwin tried many times to refute this talk and deny it, along with other scientists, his colleagues defended him a great deal.. but the catchiness of the headline made it spread among the general public.. and it became one of the errors that are very difficult to deny.. and idiots from everywhere began to mock him.. and he was drawn in the shape of an ape in the caricature in this image in the year 1871...
And the truth is that the clergymen imagined that "Darwin", with his theory, was calling for atheism.. and he replied to them saying: "The theory does not necessarily point to the validity of atheism or of faith"...
This is a scientific theory!
And originally the one who began talking about it was his grandfather, the scientist "Erasmus Darwin", and he was a religious man.. greatly respected by the church, and "Gregor Mendel", the father of genetics, who picked up the thread from his grandfather, was originally one of the monks...!
So the matter has nothing to do with faith or atheism.. This is not "the unseen".. This is science.. that is proven.. and develops and is modified every day...
And despite that, they still remained as they were.. mocking him.. and no one paid attention to his words except the real scientists...
So what did Darwin do on his voyage and what exactly did he write when he came back? We will continue this together later, and our talk will have a remainder...
