Still with "Schrödinger's cat", which he put in the box in 1937..

The ancient Egyptian cat goddess "Bast", when she was angry with a group of Egyptians, did not harm them.. she would disappear from that village or city.. and that meant that mice would spread in it and plague would strike it.. and the satisfaction of the other gods was tied to the satisfaction of "Bast".. if "Bast" is satisfied, then she knows how to make the others be satisfied with you...

"Bast", when she was a baby, used to play on the stone of "Ra" in his sun boat and bounce around everywhere, as cats do.. and she fell into the awesome cosmic waters that carried the boat.. and she almost drowned.. and from then on she hated water and swimming.. even though she knows how to swim...

And "Bast" was the goddess who restored to "Seth", the lord of darkness and evil, his standing over time, and made him stand beside the Egyptians in many wars and drove them to win and triumph..

And "Seth" — the lord of storms and the desert and the affairs of foreigners, before he disobeyed his father "Ra" and killed his brother Osiris — did not reckon with any other god.. except that he reckoned a thousand times over with "Bast" and "Thoth", the lord of science and wisdom, whose mind encompasses all the sciences, arts and crafts of the universe...

"Thoth" had a very vital role in life.. he stood at a distance from good and evil (a reference to the neutrality of science); he fostered good and evil together, so when a struggle occurred between one of the gods of good and the gods of evil.. "Thoth" would treat both and restore their strength.. and he would stand at a distance between them, constantly watching their eternal struggle so that neither side would defeat the other and finish it off forever.. and in this way.. he preserved the balance of existence..

Biologists tell us that the dolphin does not drink from seawater.. it gets fresh water from the fish it eats.. whereas the cat is almost the only land animal that drinks seawater and quenches its thirst with it, because in its kidneys there are certain filters that can strain out high salt concentrations and get rid of them..

A strange animal.. and it is no wonder that it was the first animal that came to "Erwin Schrödinger's" mind as he was thinking about his experiment, "Schrödinger's cat"..

Schrödinger said the cat in the box.. is alive and dead together at the same time..

So how is that? And why not alive "or" dead.. since the probabilities are 50:50?

He said, haven't we agreed that this cat is a particle.. and this particle moves and is in several states at the same time.. meaning when I tell you "the particle is now at the right wall of the box".. at that very moment it has moved and gone to the left wall.. so when I tell you "it is at the left wall".. you find it has gone down to the bottom of the box.. so it is in all the states at the same time until you observe it...

The particle is everywhere..

If the sky is raining.. where is the rain falling? It is falling everywhere.. as far as you are concerned it is everywhere.. until I observe it precisely and tell you, no, this rain is in Sheikh Zayed only.. not in Cairo..

So let us open the box and see what state the particle is in.. at that point that becomes its real state, the one it was observed in.. otherwise it is in all the states together..

If I said alive "or" dead.. then I would have imposed on the particle at a particular moment "rest in one place".. whereas it is never at rest.. it is forever moving everywhere and changing all the time...

And "Schrödinger" used to assert that electrons have a wave nature, and he proved this experimentally.. like light.. that is why light passes through the slats of the window shutter and comes in from under the door.. there is no such thing as putting light somewhere and having it sit in one place.. waves that travel constantly..

Scientists were baffled.. well, aren't we made of atoms and electrons.. meaning we have a wave nature? Are we not material bodies??

Are we waves? Like radio waves?? Then why don't we pass through walls?

Bafflement...

The first one to offer a solution to this bafflement.. gave us a principle in physics called the principle of uncertainty.. or doubt.. or the "uncertainty principle".. set out by a man named "Werner Karl Heisenberg" in 1927..

"Heisenberg" gave scientists a set of equations.. and told them: "Look, folks.. you can calculate light as waves or calculate it as particles.. and calculate electrons as waves or particles.. and each one chooses the assumption he likes and he will find these equations work for both assumptions"..

So how? How does matter become energy and energy become matter? And how does truth become contradiction itself?

And "Heisenberg" replied to them.. that there is no way for science to perceive the "absolute".. absolute truth cannot be perceived...

Science cannot perceive the being of a thing in a precise, definite way.. it can only perceive how this thing deals in different mediums.. and its relationship with other things..

So when light behaves in a material, atomic way once and in a wave way another time.. and electrons behave in a wave way once.. and an atomic way another time.. then this is not the nature of matter nor the nature of light..

It is the "behaviour" and the "manner" in which light behaves in certain states and mediums.. and consequently they may have a dual nature..

Just as you erupt and get angry in a certain situation.. and you can be calm and subdued in the same situation at another time.. neither is this your permanent nature nor is that your permanent nature..

You behaved with two different natures according to many variables..

And secondly.. science cannot study a basic unit that makes up a thing.. and reach an absolute result.. all the judgements of science are approximate and statistical.. and consequently it is very difficult to study a single case on its own and understand or reach a result..

And to prove this impossibility to them, Heisenberg gave them an example and said: let us imagine that we want to see a single "electron".. and determine its position and its speed.. first we want a microscope that magnifies 100 million X.. and if we made this microscope.. the electron is smaller than the wavelength of light.. meaning the light beam will not fall on it for us to see it..

We want rays with a very short wavelength.. and for this thought experiment of his he chose radium rays...

So come, let us look at the electron under the microscope.. when you shine radium rays on it to see it and determine its position.. the radium rays will strike the electron the way a billiard cue strikes the ball.. because the rays are beams of energy.. the electron will gain energy when you strike it.. and it will move.. and jump far away quickly..

So when you come to determine its position.. and shine the rays on it to see the speed at which it is moving.. the rays strike it and it shoots off like a billiard ball to a new place..

"So whenever you come to determine its position its speed changes, and whenever you come to determine its speed its position changes"... do you remember this sentence from the physics curriculum?

They brought "Schrödinger" and said to him, well.. meaning at one moment we might find the cat alive.. and at the moment after it we find the cat dead.. but we opened it and found it alive.. so the answer to your question is that it is "alive"...

He told them no.. because anything "liable to happen actually happens"..

What does that mean? It means there are parallel worlds around us.. what happens with us in our world.. is different from what happens in the others..

Meaning while we found the cat alive.. in a parallel world next to us, a copy of our world.. they found the cat dead...

"Anything liable to happen actually happens"??

Meaning in a parallel world exactly like this world of ours, Hitler won..!

And another world in which Alexander the Great did not die and continued his conquests..

And another world in which Einstein was not born.. and you were the one who arrived at the theory of relativity..

And another world — may God take care of it with His mercy — in which Mohamed Morsi is still president of the republic..

And a world in which there is a cure for AIDS.. and another world in which AIDS has become airborne and has wiped out mankind..

What is this subject.. what is this complicated story?

This is an enjoyable part but explaining it takes long.. and there will be more of this talk...
