The final episode of artificial intelligence and robots.. and today I build by myself, on video, a very easy robot.. anyone can make it if they like the subject..
These robots are without artificial intelligence.. I do not understand that.. I only read about it..
One of them is a very simple primitive robot with just a motor and gears.. and the other is slightly more advanced, with infrared sensors and speakers and a small processor..
You can start with pre-made parts.. some people will tell you "No.. you have to make the motors yourself!" These people, by their logic, if you offered them a tray of fries they would tell you "No.. you have to be the one who planted the potatoes.."...!
And in general, in the links there really is a way to make a simple motor that you can build yourself.. but not at this stage.. you are still at the beginning..
In the video you will find me talking about a bigger motor with which you can make a small boat.. mind you, all my talk is in the "small size" range.. meaning not a boat that people would ride.. a small boat like remote-controlled drones..
This small robot was made in exactly this size and these specifications at the "Massachusetts Institute of Technology MIT" and then they made a bigger one the size of a shoe box.. and one bigger, the size of an empty water carton.. and then they made the "Mars Rover" that we talked about..
The robot in the second video, the small more complicated one, took me a full 24 hours, not minutes like the one in the first video..
It works by voice commands.. with certain phrases.. you can make it your own voice alone or any voice that says these phrases..
This robot is charged once.. it has rechargeable batteries "with a DV cable" like a camera, and then whenever it walks, its wheels drive along with it a "DC Motor".. which we said in the first video "can work as a generator".. this motor charges the batteries.. and so on..
Meaning as long as it is moving, it is charging itself..
You can make it when you go deeper into the subject and work with your hands a lot.. engineering students can make it.. Military Technical College students can make it..
This robot is not registered as a patent.. and no one can register it, because I have now published it online, there it is.. the condition for registration is always that the invention or innovation not be published before registration..
And within a few days I will finish its drawings and design and publish it too, open source.. anyone can copy it and make one like it and change it..
The idea, despite its simplicity, has thousands of applications.. imagine a table of medical tools that moves by the doctor's or surgeon's commands and goes to someone who has one..
Imagine a nightstand for those who are bedridden and the elderly.. their medicine box.. imagine a tool box for a worker.. and a baby carriage for a mother working at home.. a wheelchair.. an ammunition box.. a drip stand in a hospital.. it moves by your commands and comes to you when you call it and returns to its place when you command it..
Anyone can use the idea and implement the application they like.. provided it is also open source..
Try and work..
If you stumble once or twice or 10 times while working, that is natural and normal at first..
You can teach this work to your small child.. like the children of Japan.. instead of sitting there smacking your lips over their genius while you sit.. you can imitate them.. and teach your child.. in any case, when your child finds you passionate about this field he will try to imitate you, and so..
When you succeed once you must read constantly and keep your hand working all the time.. whether professional or amateur..
Be careful with children under 8 years old.. because there are very small pieces and screws that will accumulate on you over time..
Genius is always in simplicity and ease and directness in execution.. when an idea comes to you, search behind it and read about it and try to execute it.. even if it seems strange to you..
If the idea was not strange from the beginning, then no hope can be hoped for from it..
Do not say "I am an accountant, so how" and "I am a doctor, I have nothing to do with engineering".. if you are an amateur.. practise your hobby and you may indeed make something new and useful..
The Wright brothers were "bicycle men" and they made the first airplane..
In order to register a patent for something new.. you must have written its patent, with its equations, its weight, all its characteristics, along with the engineering drawings..
You cannot register "just an idea".. that is forbidden.. and it is always preferable that when you go to the registration office you have with you a model you designed yourself... unless the invention is something not capable of that, like a "reactor" for example.. here they content themselves with drawings and papers and theoretical equations..
Forget the clingy people who will try to discourage you.. there are people who have failed at almost everything in their lives.. so they do not want anyone to succeed.. if you look closely you will find he has nothing to do but talk about people and waste his time on nonsense.. forget him and work..
Remember.. many mocked the Wright brothers.. but now.. no one dares mock Boeing and Rafale and Airbus and the F-16..
In the references this time.. there are different links.. the difference between a DC motor and an AC motor..
How to make a small robot out of anything.. and teach your child to make it..
How to make a metal detector yourself..
And others...
If you make a robot and film it.. send me the video and I will publish it for you.. and if you need to ask any question, message me any time.. I will give you everything I know as an amateur.. and what I do not know.. I will search for it with you and we will learn something new together..
In the coming era, countries that will not raise a generation of creators coming out of the small children of today.. a generation that invents and develops and makes new things.. will be signing their death certificate..
The last link in the references is a free robotics course..
Enjoy..
Note: anyone who tells me you are Alexandrian and you pronounce "nazalt" instead of "nizilt" I will block him!
