The blue planet.. and the only one with intelligent life in the Solar System at present..

"Earth"..

Our Earth.. with its atmosphere.. its rain, its animals, its seas and its beauty..

Water is the secret of life.. long ago scientists said, "Wherever there is water, there is life"..

And life evolves and advances and builds civilization..

And about 71% of our planet is water..

One of the things not many people know is that the water cycle on Earth is closed.. it is the same amount.. we don't import extra water from another planet, I mean..

So the glass of water you are drinking right now.. could be the very same glass that "Cleopatra" drank in the year 30 BC.. or that Ramesses II sweated out in the year 1274 BC on his horse's back at the Battle of Kadesh..

It is the same amount of water and the same water..

And our planet has an atmosphere, and contrary to what is commonly believed.. it is not all oxygen.. 78% of it is "nitrogen".. and 21% oxygen and 1% other gases..

And our atmosphere is the reservoir of the water we drink.. which evaporates and moves through it from one place to another in the form of clouds, then comes down as rain.. and we drink it.. and so on..

And if all the water floating in the air in our atmosphere were suddenly condensed and fell on the Earth.. it would drown the whole Earth.. and cover it to a height of about 3 meters...

And our atmosphere has weight.. which causes atmospheric pressure on our bodies.. and it has a mass of 5.15×10 to the power of 18.. and it is divided into five layers.. the troposphere layer.. the stratosphere, the mesosphere, the thermosphere and the exosphere.. the last envelope and the outermost layer..

This atmosphere transmits radio waves and wireless waves to us and is responsible for our breathing and drinking, and it protects us from meteorites and harmful radiation that comes from space, from the Sun or otherwise..

And this envelope is in its place because of Earth's gravity.. it is the force that pulls it into place and keeps it around the globe..

Unfortunately, one sometimes comes across extremely shallow posts.. talking about "gravity will stop for 3 seconds tomorrow".. and "the Earth is flat and the spherical Earth is a NASA trick"..

If Earth's gravity stopped for 3 seconds.. the Earth would collide with the nearest planet to it.. and the whole belt of the Solar System would be disturbed and all the planets would crash into one another..

Or plunge into the heart of the Sun..

As for this flat Earth business.. honestly I don't know what the goal of this conspiracy is.. that they tell us "it's spherical" when it's flat.. and why is it the only flat planet.. and how is it flat when the Sun doesn't rise over all of it at one time and set at one time.. and how is it flat when there is such a thing as a "slanted horizon line".. you can even see it yourself with your own eyes as you follow a ship through a magnifying telescope.. and it disappears "behind" the horizon..

Never mind the shallowness.. let's get back to our subject.. most of Earth's inhabitants are not humans.. nor animals nor insects..

But bacteria..

You might be astonished if you knew the amount of bacteria and single-celled organisms on Earth.. and you might be even more astonished if you knew that in your body you carry 37.2 trillion human cells.. and at the same time you carry on your body, on top of it and inside it, 39 trillion bacterial cells...

The number of bacteria "in/on" our bodies is greater than the number of our own cells...

And you would be more and more astonished if you knew that the harmful bacteria that harm humans make up no more than 2 - 3% of all that.. of the total number of bacteria on Earth.. because most of the bacteria present are beneficial..

They eat dead bodies..

They produce oxygen..

And they even devour nuclear waste...

The ratio of bacteria to humans on Earth.. is probably the same ratio as in our universe.. meaning the probability that on space journeys you meet a bacterium or a single-celled organism.. is billions of times greater than the probability that you meet rational, intelligent beings with flying saucers.

And these bacteria can be deadly.

And they can serve as a biological weapon that wipes out your enemies in seconds...

And after bacteria come insects.

If you knew that every human being corresponds to 200 million insects on Earth.. then the probability that you meet insect life in space exceeds the probability that you meet rational beings by millions of times...

And these insects can be harmful..

Or deadly...

Our Earth is about four and a half billion years old.. many creatures and many beings lived on it that we never met face to face.. and they went extinct.. and other creatures appeared.. and so on..

On Earth.. humans never lived at the same time as the dinosaurs at all.. and did not appear in their eras.. the stories of a human wearing sackcloth and holding a spear and fighting a dinosaur spread because of cinema films.. it's more than that.. there are dinosaurs that you see fighting each other in the cinema that never met each other in life at all.. and the time gap between them and each other.. is the same time gap between us and the age of the dinosaurs themselves..

Earth went through several extinctions.. the most important of which was about 252 million years ago.. and it is called "the Great Dying".. or the "Permian–Triassic extinction event".. and it wiped out most forms of life on the planet.. and Earth lost 96% of living species...

But this Great Dying had an important effect.. the Great Dying prepared the Earth for different forms of life that later allowed for human life.. because it destroyed jointed creatures resembling cockroaches and predatory insects two and three meters long and flying insects the size of vultures.. we could never have lived among them..

We talked before about the subject that life arose on Earth "by chance".. and we learned that mathematicians did their calculations and told you that this talk is not accurate nor scientific.. for a single cell with its DNA strand to arise "by chance".. the probability of that - of it happening just once - is 1 in 10 "Ducentillion" and the ducentillion is the number 1 with 603 zeros next to it..

In short, and by another calculation.. this exceeds the entire age of the Earth by billions of years.. and it is impossible for it to happen by chance within the time of our planet.

And this Earth we are standing on is moving.. it rotates around itself a full cycle in 24 hours.. day.. night and day.. and it rotates around the Sun in 365 days.. a full Earth year.

You would also be surprised if you knew that the Earth you are sitting on right now reading this is moving at a terrifying speed in space during its journey in its orbit.. 30 kilometers in a single "second".. meaning 107826.05 kilometers per hour...!

And Earth has one moon.. the fewest number of moons among the planets that have moons.

We saw the black fate that befell the planet Venus.. and turned it into a red hell.. the truth is that this could happen to Earth with complete ease.. if a nuclear war broke out.. or pollution increased to a violent degree.. the planet would not be able to get rid of it easily.

And everything on Earth and under the dome of its atmosphere is set by a balance.. and every creature has a role.

Even cockroaches.. without them we would lose most agricultural soil...

Scientists suggest that Earth has ahead of it as much life as has passed.. about 5 billion years.. and they also expect the end scenario.. that our Sun, after 5 billion years, will turn into a "Red giant"..

And it will grow..

Then temperatures on Earth begin to rise unexpectedly.. and the gases of the atmosphere react.. and turn into dense smoky vapors.. and breathing becomes extremely exhausting and difficult.. and then the seas and oceans literally begin to boil.. and the mountains float amid the lava and the Earth's crust moves.. and then the atmosphere burns completely.. and the new giant Sun then begins to pull it..

And our Earth falls into the heart of the Sun..

And then the Sun begins to consume its fuel and goes out.. and begins to shrink.. and turns into a black hole.. from which energy called "Hawking radiation" comes out..

This radiation makes the black hole shrink and dwindle and fold in on itself like a paper before you throw it into a waste bin..

And then "black hole evaporation"...

And it vanishes..

And the Sun ends up as a burst of energy just as it began..

Earth differs greatly from the "Red Planet".. next to it.. the one about which some scientists put forward a theory.. saying that it was once as full of life as it.. had its inhabitants not been exposed to an "industrial" catastrophe.. that wiped out life on it..

And talking about that would take long, and there is more to come...
